Privacy and enquiries
Information sent through our enquiry forms
When you contact Katawa Projects through this website, the enquiry form asks for your name, telephone number, email address, suburb, the service you need and a message about the work. Please do not include passwords, bank-card details, identity documents or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Why we use this information
We use the information you send to respond to your request, clarify the work, arrange an assessment or quotation and follow up about that enquiry. Your message is routed to our business email system. If you select the WhatsApp option, your browser opens WhatsApp with the details you choose to send; WhatsApp's own privacy terms then apply.
Who may handle your enquiry
Staff or service personnel involved in responding to your request may need access to relevant details. Website hosting and email providers may process information so that messages can be delivered and stored. We may also need to disclose information where applicable law requires it. We do not ask for payments through the public enquiry form.
Storage and security
Enquiry information may remain in business email or service records for customer service, quotations, legal obligations and legitimate business administration. We have not published a fixed retention period for these records; if you have a retention question about a particular enquiry, contact us directly. No internet submission can be promised absolute security, so avoid entering confidential information that is not required for arranging the work.
Access, correction and deletion requests
Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you may have rights to ask what personal information is held about you, request correction or deletion where appropriate, and object to certain processing. To raise a request about an enquiry sent to this website, contact info@katawaprojects.co.za. We may need to verify that the request comes from the person concerned before acting on it.
Contact and complaints
For questions about privacy or the handling of a service enquiry, email info@katawaprojects.co.za or call +27 61 424 8433. You may also seek guidance from South Africa's Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

To limit automated or repeated submissions, the booking handler temporarily stores recent request timestamps under a one-way hash derived from the connecting network address. It does not store the raw network address in that rate-limit file. These temporary checks are separate from the enquiry email itself. A successful mail-server acceptance is not a guaranteed inbox delivery or an appointment confirmation.
