Wet-area electrical problems need a different approach
A pool pump combines motor starting loads with damp ground, chemical storage, long outdoor cables and repeated operation. Where a pump trips in wet weather, the cause may be water ingress at a joint, a damaged motor or failed protective equipment. We first establish whether the issue is within the pump itself or its fixed supply, and whether it occurs immediately at start-up or after running. The installer should consider the pool area, protective bonding and how power is safely isolated before any work is proposed.
