Maintain shape without creating a bare hedge
Repeatedly cutting only the outside can leave a dense shell and weak, leafless growth inside. Depending on the plant, a modest shaping trim may be appropriate while severe reduction could cause lasting damage.
We assess the height, access, species where identifiable and whether the hedge is intended for a neat boundary, wind screening or soft landscape division. Tall or neglected growth may need planned work rather than an ordinary maintenance visit.
