Why kitchen drainage needs its own assessment
Grease from commercial food preparation can accumulate in waste pipes and sewer connections, particularly when fats cool after leaving wash areas. A recurring kitchen blockage may be more than a simple sink obstruction. We ask where food is prepared, which sinks and appliances share the waste line, whether a grease trap is installed and how it is maintained. A trap cannot solve problems if it is bypassed, undersized or installed where access is impractical. The aim is to understand how grease reaches the drains before agreeing a repair.
